Manufactured using immensely
strong but lightweight extruded aluminium.
Smartwave trailers are now constructed
entirely without use of U-bolts, a notorious
weak point for rust and corrosion, as every
conventional trailer owner will testify. The
light weight of a Smartwave chassis makes
towing and handling much easier - it also
means more boat can be carried within the
750kg weight limit for un-braked trailers.Everycomponent
on a Smartwave trailer has been selected for
quality and we believe you will not find
better anywhere.
Both Smartwave trailer models
feature our "SuperGlide" bunk system
which supports the boat fully and has no
moving parts to wear, corrode or cause damage
to the hull when launching/retrieving in rough
conditions.
The smart "SRS" (shallow
water retrieval system) was designed
specifically for loading the boat dry from a
beach or very shallow water. The bunk ends
form ramps to lift and guide the bow up on to
the trailer and boat self centralizes as it is
winched on.
